Case known from military issue
American but Swiss
In such a condition, and with the history from American pilots in the Vietnam war (they are said to have used the same case and movement in the US Air Force), this offers a very affordable entry into the world of collectible vintage watches. The super sharp stainless steel monocoque case (no removable back cover here), as it says on the back “Open thru crystal”, have brushed sides and of course, very sharp edges. On to the silvered cross hair dial, we find it classically minimalistic of the “no lume, no date” type (the dagger hands have lume though). The applied hour markers could very well be the Swiss standard white gold. Finding the original “B”- signed crown follows as a matter of course. The case diameter is just over 34 mm, the thickness is a slim 9,9 mm. The movement runs, but is in need of service. The price reflects this,. To have it serviced by our professional watchmaker before delivery, please add NOK 3750,-.
