In very good condition, this boxed electric vintage watch is rare. Please note that this Bulova is made in Switzerland, and that the 300hz Omega movement (Omega caliber 1250) was used under Bulova permission. Bulova patented their electric watch movements, and other makers was allowed to use these patented innovative inventions in the early seventies. This watch has a slightly higher frequency (360hz) than used by Omega in their first years of electric watches. The caliber is 2181F and is driven by a Renata 344 battery. The silvered dial has a beautiful vertical brush finish with the Accutron logo, name and Bulova in applied white gold. The hands and the applied stick hour markers are unblemished by age, and all lume is present. The steel “CB” case is sharp, with a logo crown. Attached is the original signed leather strap with the correct and charming “BULOVA” signed buckle. As can be seen in the photos, the solid box has nice texts and the applied Accutron logo on the lid. To complete this package is an Accutron medallion. On the inside of the back cover is stamped reference number 741. On the back the serial number is 1-658395. ‘The dimensions of the case are: 35,5x40mm. We date this watch to ca 1968.
