We beleive this to be from the late thirties, serial number being 904593, and the enamel dial telltales of age. Very rare in our opinion, as wrist timers were uncommon before the late sixties. It is also small for a timer, the case diameter being 35 mm as opposed to the more usual 50 mm hand held timers. The lug width is a modest 13 mm. The movement runs, and the timer is stopped and started by the slide below the crown. A really charming item, and a real conversion piece among collectors.
