Top quality Heuer modified Valjoux 61 movement

Military markings are always interesting in a vintage. The Swedish “Tre kronor” is an example that we particularly like. It is decorative and simple, just like the layout on this chronograph. We think this Ed. Heuer signed pocket chronograph dates from just after the second world war. The Valjoux caliber 61 movement  has serial number 603807 and is nicely equipped with Heuer logos. The silvered dial is very nice, among the best we have seen, so are the blued steel hands. The watch works fine, resetting the chronograph hand as it should. It has not been serviced by us. The “Metal chrome” case is 50,5 mm diameter and the thickness is 14,4 mm. The outer of the two snap on case backs is numbered 148403. A rare and desirable vintage chronograph. A gem and a pride in every watch collection!
