59,3 mm recess in a dashboard fits this “8 Jours” Swiss Made” car-, plane- or boat watch (“clock”). It winds and sets by turning the bezel. A lever next to 9 switches the two settings. Running with no beat error, but not serviced by us. The original crystal is crackled, but is kept because of the red arrow pointer. The outer diameter with the three holes for fixing screws is ca 77 mm. The turnable bezel is brass and we gather the rest of the casing is aluminium. We find it difficult to date, but will assume it to be from the twenties or thirties.
