A premium quality vintage watch

The stainless steel case is larger than many from the sixties, and it is without any noticeable marks. The original Longines crown is intact, also pointing to that this watch has had careful and probably few years of use. On the back cover though, some marks after tools not quite fitting the measurements meant to be used when the watch has been opened.

Longines vintage watches are beautifully made. The movements are wonderful. They have gold bushings around the stones (“jewels”), and this model 7839-3 is with the caliber 284 movement is no exception! To keep the price down we have not serviced it, but for an extra NOK4500 you can have “a full overhaul” done before delivery. It runs fine in the condition it is in for occasional use though. The dimensions are: diameter 34.8 mm (“oversized”), lug tip to lug tip 40 and thickness a slim 9.2 mm. The serial number 14079610 dates it to ca 1967/-68.
