Intruiging, quality, pre WWII all steel cased gentleman’s watch. Inside back cover numbered 205342 and “Acier Inoxydable#. Adjusted 15 jewel movement, pre Incabloc, signed “MIMO, Fab. Suisse, #094299 Swiss”. Fixed, not spring bars. Fitted with a quality, adjustable, newer steel bracelet signed “Fisher, Edelstahl, D.R.G.M.” ( woman sized). Gilt, Art Deco inspired, incredibly intact and shining (“gilt”) dial. Matching radium luminescence on numbers 3, 6, 9 and 12. Complete, possibly relumed, luminescence on the minute and hour hands. MIMO (Manufacture Internationale de Montres) merged with Girard-Perregaux in 1943. A number of watches were delivered to armed forces. “Antimagnetic” was a novel feature at the time. Unserviced, but complete and running well. 33mm, ca 1940.
