This “box and papers” Constellation comes with it’s original bill of sale, Omega warrenty, inner and outer box and a new strap with an Omega logo buckle. The all steel appearance of this beautifully preserved vintage watch, the silver dial with applied white gold hour markers, logo, OMEGA text and Constellation star, is hard to beat. It does not have the more usual “piepan” dial, but this dial also curves towards the edge, giving very nice reflections of light. There has never been any luminescence material on this dial, thereby protecting it from “lume” plots disintegrating and blemishing the dial. The chronometer movement is “adjusted to 5 positions and temperature”, has serial #18030563 and runs perfectly, keeping accurate time. The case reference is 14381 – 11 SC, case maker symbol is CB. Very many of the Constellations you find have extensive wear to the case and gold emblem on the caseback. This watch has seen very little use, and is therefore probably the best example of this reference on the market today. We measure the case diameter to 34,3mm, and the year of manufacture is 1961.
