Early caliber 613 (quick date change)

From 1968, this super Omega has been very well looked after. Both the original crystal and  logo crown is present. You can spot original Omega vintage crowns when you see the narrow bottom opening of the Ω symbol. The “C” or “cushion” shaped watch cases were introduced in the Omega product lines 1965/-66. Genève cases came in reference 136.041 a little later, and can be found from 1968 onwards to the beginning of the seventies. The case is made by CB, measures 34,5 across, is 40,3 long and only a slim 9,2 mm thick. The silver/grey dial has straight stick hour markers in white gold that are heightened by black onyx. All lume plots are intact, as are the hands. On this model that sports a manual caliber 613 movement, you “quick change” the date by pulling out the crown past the middle hand setting position. This 1968 model Genève comes with its original “Swiss Made” Omega box.
