It is in very good condition, and has obviously been very well looked after. Many of these PR516 (PR stands for “particularly robust”) were very roughly used as everyday beaters. So again: those you find that have been carefully used of these 516s and eg. Certina DS and DS-2s: BUY!  They offer a lot of watch for the vintage money. The fully serviced manual caliber 782-1 movement carries our 12 months watchmakers warranty and can indeed be used as an everyday watch by an appreciative owner today. The sturdy case adds weight to this package and is both comforting and comfortable to wear. The 9641689 serial number on the movement dates it to ca 1968.
