We have, and we have had, several of these first issue Defys. However, this silver dialed model that beats 28800/hr is a first for us. The later models of the Defy have a lot of peculiar shapes of indexes, making it a point for us to prefer these early ones. Even though it does not provide a divers bezel, these could be trusted under water (300m depth rating when new!) The screw down crown shows some wear on this watch, but it functions perfectly. The 2562PC movement runs very well, keeping time accurately like this high quality caliber usually does. The inside back cover shows that the case is made by “MZ”, and the serial number on the back is 010 209 290. The case is nice, unpolished and measures 37x44mm. Production date is ca 1970.
