Wth model reference and date on the inside back cover “941-66″. It has splendid bulls eye, no date dial with gold hour markers. The luminescent material consist of small dots on the periphery of the black centre. The lume is intact both on the dial and hands. The large “Super Compressor” crown has the Lemania logo on top of the characteristic cross hatched pattern used on “compressor”-cased watches. This Lemania, has the beautiful caliber 3000 movement which is clean and very “Omegalike”. It also has something the Omegas don’t have: a tight fitting dust cover. The serial number on the 17 jewel, gold plated manual movement is 2014346. The unpolished 35,5 mm case is sharp, with the caseback showing interesting details of the model in hand. The divers helmet and the “Brevet” numbers indicate patents applied for describing the unique wire spring under the caseback that allows depressing of the rubber seal as the water pressure increases with depth. Thereby ensuring necessary waterproofing. Lug to lug dimensions is 43,5 and case thickness is 11,5 mm. This vintage wristwatch represents a nice opportunity to obtain a mid sixties quality Lemania.
