The Polerouters line of watches (the earliest were branded “Polarouters”) is very varied; From the anti magnetic Polarouters marketed with SAS (Scandinavian Airlines System) to the divers (“Sub”), from the “Supers” to the “N.S”. They were noted for their ruggedness, and from the mid fifties for their “microtor” (invented by Buren) automatic movements. The fantastic 28 jeweled series of movements are a joy to view. The movement in this Polerouter is now fully serviced and is covered by our 12 month guarantee. The details are super in this caliber 218-9 issue. The gold case has signs of use, but is superbly presentable and intact. The crown is probably not the original (the logo may have been worn off though). The crystal has been changed. The dimensions are: diameter 33,7 x length 38,5 and thickness a slim 8,8 mm. This rare and desirable 18 carat Universal Genève is dated to the early 1960s.
