Colourful and intriguing large Omega from ca 1974
In great working order with a new crystal and crown fitted
Look at the incredible blue dial, with the tachymeter chapter ring – it really stands out as something exceptional. The four white hands match the white filled steel indexes and the white print on the dial to create a perfect contrast to the blue. Omega Chronographs usually are named “Speedmaster”. Indeed, this Seamaster is an exception; it even has the set up of the Speedmaster III. That includes the colorful chronograph minute counter (symbolizing  an airplane) which can also be found on another large model from Omega in the seventies: the Flightmaster. The super automatic movement caliber 1040 has serial number 35597685, dating it to ca 1974. We have checked it for accuracy and concluded with no need for service at this time. (We guarantee the works for 12 months). The heavy, stainless steel case has lived a life, but it is unpolished and free for noticeable dings. The blue, factory new Condor leather strap matches the dial nicely, we think. A generic vintage bracelet can be included in the sale at no extra charge if you wish. Case dimensions are: 42 x 48.5 x1 5.4 mm.
AntikA as guarantees the authenticity of this watch. Only original Omega service parts have been used during the last service that was performed by an Omega approved watchmaker. The watch will be repaired free of charge for a period of 12 months after purchase, should it stop or start to deviate from correct timekeeping more than a minute a day. Wrong use or visible damage excepted.
