Rare because it comes complete with outer box, inner box and guarantee/instruction manual filled out with name of first owner and date of purchase (29th December 1970). A full package like this is not often found, and this fully working, accurate timepiece with its immaculate black dial is very attractive. T-Swissmade-T (all lumeintact) dial with applied white gold indexes, Bulova, logo and Accutron name shows the quality of production. The 34 mm case is mint, with the original crown. The reference number on the caseback is 1-604970 and M8. Not in the lower price range at the time, this electric watch appealed to the innovators (and not to the late followers…). You have to change the battery now and then, but no need for winding or winders here!
