Mid sixties pocket chronograph
Beautiful Valjoux 5 column wheel movement
Signed Heuer – Leonidas SA
Look at those blued steel hands and the fantastic movement. Made in the old traditional way, the mint enamel dial having stamped lettering. This is the last generation of pocket chronographs from Heuer. Heuer merged with/bought Leonidas in 1964, and the last catalogue listing found by us is in the 1970/71 Heuer catalogue of chronographs and timers. The outer caseback is signed and numbered 73410. The diameter is 52 and the thickness is 17 mm.
