Sought after for vintage cars

All Heuer dash watches are in great demand. The Rally-Master sets especially. The backplate is signed Heuer-Leonidas, and the dial layouts tells us the production date to be ca 1970. The two catalaogue reference photos are fro the 1963 and 1971 catalogues respectively. The older one explains the use of the set. As can be seen also, the two watches have been mounted differently from the original setup, putting the Monte-Carlo (with the pusher on the right) in the left position. However, if you study holes on the rear of the backplate, the two can be mounted in different ways. This set is reputed to have been installed in a rally car participating in Rally Monte-Carlo in the early seventies.  They have nor been particularly well looked after, since is some corrosion on the chrome, but if you want something more than new old stock (nos), this set is for you. Dimensions of the backplate are: 11,3 x 5,7 x 0,38 cm. The circular cases are 5,44 cm diameter and just over 1,5 cm deep. The Monte-Carlo sports a 7-jewel, Heuer caliber 7714 movement. The Master-Time running for 8 days, has the 15 jewel movement Arogno 28, though signed Heuer.

The serial numbers are 73451 on the Monte-Carlo and 288175 on the Master-Time.
