Description
Splendid dial, hands and case
35 mm pure gold!
All original – super condition
Coming with a vintage box and its original insurance document, we think this a rare opportunity to obtain a heavily cased 18 carat all gold Omega. Being slightly “oversized” in vintage terms the dial, applied hour markers and hands gives an impressive presence on the wrist. We have paired it with a brand new Condor leather strap fitted with a gold plated, stainless steel buckle with the Omega logo.
The caliber 1002 automatic movement, serial number 32061935 is fully serviced and guaranteed for 12 months. The serial number dates the production to ca 1971. The watchcase reference is 166.0086.
There is company logo and a name and date, both very nicely and professionally engraved on the caseback (which weighs in at 8 grams alone!). The total weight of watch (head only) is 36 g. Which means, allowing 20 g for movement and crystal, the total (18 carat) gold weight should be around 16 g.
The watch has been worn, obviously, but for a vintage wristwatch gold case, it has very few marks and no “dings”.
AntikA as guarantees the authenticity of this watch. Only original Omega service parts have been used during the last service that was performed by an Omega approved watchmaker. The watch will be repaired free of charge for a period of 12 months after purchase, should it stop or start to deviate from correct timekeeping more than a minute a day. Wrong use or visible damage excepted.
