We have and have had many vintage Seamasters, but in 10 years, this is the first reference 14763-61 SC. The heavy gold on steel case (capped with 18 carat) , together with the long “S” in “Seamaster”, the Dauphine hands and solid lugs gives away its age. The offwhite dial is very good, coupled with applied real gold indexes and real gold hands giving this Omega a quite exclusive appearance. Read about gold hour markers (indexes) used in Swiss watches from ca 1970 (included as a picture). The automatically wound, caliber 552 movement has serial number 18314204. We have equipped it with a new leather strap (18 mm lug width). The screw on back cover has a large Seamaster medallion. The dimensions are: Diameter 35.2, lug tip to lug tip 43.3 and thickness 11.2 mm. The Omega crown and Omega crystal are service replacements.
AntikA as guarantees the authenticity of this watch. Only original Omega service parts have been used during the last service that was performed by an Omega approved watchmaker. The watch will be repaired free of charge for a period of 12 months after purchase, should it stop or start to deviate from correct timekeeping more than a minute a day. Wrong use or visible damage excepted.
