This dial stands out a mile. The patination is reasonably even and very unusual. Coupled with the cross hairs and chunky gold hour markers, this heavy, gold capped Seamaster is very rare. Turning it around, you will find the best Seamaster hippocampus logo ever. Both in size and depth this back cover has no equal. The crown has no logo, but it looks contemporary, so maybe it is just worn. The gold cap on the crown is intact anyway. Inside the early rotor automatic movement (caliber 501) has been fully serviced. The serial number 16506785 dates this Omega to ca 1958. Dimensions are: Diameter 34.2, length 42.3 and thickness 12.1 mm. The crystal is an Omega service replacement. This vintage Omega Seamaster needs to be seen! (357/10503).
