Rare and fine vintage Omega with a presence

Mint condition, unpolished, 120 m depth rating

Large and attractive flyback chronograph

This super vintage has the dimensions 41×47 thickness being 13,2 mmm and has lug width 22 mm. It runs with the manual movement caliber 865, which includes a flyback chronograph to be used timing an event within the first minute. You have to keep the chronograph pusher down to read the time elapsed, when let go the red seconds hand returns to zero. The tachymeter scale is perfect for this, and is used to calculate units per hour by measuring the time elapsed for one unit. Eg. a running mile or kilometer giving you the average speed. The movement number is 28099223, which dates this watch to ca 1968/-69. It has the original crown, pusher and Omega signed crystal, presenting itself in the very best manner, and an investment vintage watch for sure! Please look at all pictures, including the Technical Brief from Omega dated April 1968 (in Swedish). The stainless steel case is very well preserved. Always remember though; in spite of the 120 m depth rating when new, no vintage watch must be treated as waterproof. The straps shown are just examples, please let us now your preferences. One extra valuable detail to notice: the original vintage  mm Omega buckle is included in the sale.
