Late pocket watch in mint condition
Omega has made millions, but not many like this one
Why not equip yourself for a big day
We like vintage pocket watches. Especially high quality, rather slim watches from the years after WWII. This Omega is only just over 30 years old, but made in the traditional way. It is not bulky like the pocket watches from earlier periods, it does not weigh very much, and it does fit in a modern setting. There are many jeans and trousers that have the little “coin pocket” where small watches like this one will fit. If you are wearing a suit or a “bunad” a watch on a chain fastened on your vest looks and works great.
The white, enamel “Breguet” dial is sharp, and the black hands makes for maximum time readability. The case reference is 121 1740 and the dimensions are: diameter 48 and thickness is only 10,2 mm. The caliber 960, 17 jewel movement runs fine, keeping time within +/- 15 sec/day. It looks totally untouched, so this watch may never have been serviced. The serial number 45244408 dates this watch to ca 1982. The brand new watch chain (25 cm) is included in the price.
