Description
All original condition, early seventies funky style
Massive and unusual
Fully serviced and guaranteed
Sporting a late integrated, Tissot signed and dated Guy Freres (GF) bracelet, this contemporary alternative to the Seamaster 120 is something else. The very good condition case and bracelet with a deep set dial has real appeal. On the silvered dial, you find white gold ridged markers with lume plots pointing inwards and the centre line and the railway seconds/minute track in black. The fully serviced automatic movement has caliber 2481, and the serial number is 15390316. The all stainless steel case ref. is 44642. The sailship symbol on the case back of this Tissot Navigator depicts the Santa Maria, the flagship used by Christopher Columbus during his 1492 voyage to the Americas. (To compare: On the back of the Eterna-Matic Kontiki watches, you find a gold emblem of the balsa fleet used by Thor Heyerdahl and crew). The case dimensions are: width 37.3, height 46.2 and thickness 14.6 mm. The bracelet will fit wrists up to ca 20 cm.
