An attractive, sought after Certina diver. This 37mm vintage watch has had rough jobs in its more than 50 years and is not mint. It is a good, honest toolwatch though, retaining it’s original signed crown (not the “screw down” type). The distance between lug ends is 41,7, the lug width is 20and the thickness of the case with crystal is 11,5mm. It has red detailing on the very well preserved dial consisting of hour sub-numbers from 13 to 24 and thin crosshairs. The rectangular hour markers (square at 12, 6 and 9) are not luminous, but the hands and bezel triangle light up under ultraviolet light. The lume on the hands have a small hole. The resin filled bezel is very nice, and because this watch dates from ca 1968, it rotates both ways without clicks. The automatic 25-651 movement has been fully serviced, and the serial number is 6949949.
