A lot of functionality is built in to this chronograph: The red/pink inner Telemetre scale for measuring distance to sound events (explosions, start guns or thunder for example use the fact that sound travels ca 333m/s or 3 sec pr km), tachymetre scale for speed and rates of production and 10 and 5 minutes regatta start countdown (the red sector counting the last minutes before start is luminous). In addition, the usual chronograph measuring of up to 30 minutes . To top this the bidirectional rotatable diver´s bezel shows hours and minutes. “Made by Alfred Rochat et fils Horlogers, Les Bioux, Suisse”. It is a beautiful, colourful watch with a charming “lollipop” seconds hand. The lume on this watch is spectacular, even shining for a little while after the uv-light has been removed (please look at the last picture :)).
Not in perfect condition (mint) though, so the small things you should know are: Bezel has faded, there is slight lume fallout on tip of lollipop chronograph hand and you can just spot a very slight bleeding off the right edge of the left subdial.
