Much has been said of this “cheap” Heuer (the model is also sometimes Leonidas labelled) chronograph. And not all comments have been nice: “Terrible movement, metal (not stainless steel) case bad quality throughout” etc. No matter, this actual watch is a very good example of a famous Heuer produkt. In our opinion it has the most attractive dial layout of all the variations of the Jackie Ickxs Heuer. We have not found a direct link between the film and the Heuer use of the name Easy Rider, but the famous film (which was one of the most successful at the box office in 1969) is worth seeing. Starring Peter Fonda, Dennis Hopper and Jack Nicholson.
