King Seiko 4402-8000

The history behind “King Seiko”: The earliest model of the King Seiko was produced in 1963 by Daini Seikosha Co., as an answer to the release of the 1960 Grand Seiko by Suwa Seikosha Co. A few years after the release of the original GS, the first generation King Seiko was produced. It was a hand-wound, unnumbered 25-jewel caliber.

It looks very much like ours! The watch we are offering is well used, but the movement is fine and it runs within -15 sec per day. (We have not serviced it). It was produced in 1968, has a 25 jewel high grade movement, caliber 56, serial 268183. Case diameter is 35mm.
