Now fully serviced and ready to go, this vintage watch with a history is a real charmer. It was presented to “B.S.” on a 45 year occasion following a start in 1917. We are therefore most likely at a birthday celebration taking place in 1962. This beautiful black dialled Flagship has been used very sparingly, and it presents itself as mint. The no date, no lume dial has applied gold hour markers and logo, and the texts “LONGINES” and “Flagship” are printed with such thick gold paint that they stand out as if these texts have been applied too. The gold minute and hour hands have the original lume intact and are spotless as is the seconds hand. The beautiful, manual and very famous caliber 30 LS movement is a sight for sore eyes! (Longines caliber 30L movements are very respected in the watchmaker and collector communities). The serial no. 11067955 dates the production of this Flagship to ca 1959. The case no. is 304-4 /115 , and the diameter is slightly oversize at 35,5 mm. The long, bevelled and tapered lugs streches the height to 43,3 mm. It has a super unpolished, gold on steel case with it’s original Longines signed crown.
