This very well kept, modest looking, small vintage watch is from ca 1950. It has some surprising qualities though: A fully stainless steel case with a screw down back cover, and a 15 jewel signed movement of close to Longines quality. The dial is quite eye-catching, being extremely well kept considering age and radium lume. The hour markers are full lume, and the small seconds sundial is “gilt”. There is some pitting to the hands, but all the lume is present there too. The nicely executed engraving on the back underlines the fact that this must have been an appreciated gift, given by someone who cared. The watch has not been serviced, but it keeps time well. The case diameter is 30mm.
