An eighteen carat, heavy hitter! Our first 1950s Constellation in all gold. A dial with some damage, but a no lume, no date, crosshairs dial one at that! And speaking of gold, look at the applied details ON the the piepan dial: Thick, chunky gold hour markers. The arabic numbers 3, 6, 9 and 12 are also in gold, together with the hands, Omega logo, Omega text and the Constellation star. The case, lugs and the back cover are in very sharp and crisp condition. Looking on the back at the Constellation medallion with it’s observatory and eight stars, you can see that this watch has not been worn much. The chronometer movement, caliber 505, has been fully serviced and comes with our 12 months watchmaker’s warranty. The serial number is 15345029 and case numbers are 2852 – 2853, dating the watch to 1956. We kept the restoration of this watch to a minimum, but have replaced the crystal and the crown with the original Omega service parts. Please study the pictures carefully, and ask for more if you are interested. The dial may be damaged, but the originality and quality of this vintage package is quite unique.
