Representing Omega´s finest dress-/sportswatches at the time, this Constellation chronometer from 1972 is a very good example. The two tone blue dial is deep in color, and the hands are excellent. We found this watch quite perfect at first glance, but the Omega crystal (Omega symbol in center) had not been put in place correctly, so this Constellation is on it’s way to the watchmaker. The Bulova patent (Omega caliber 1250) f300hz movement runs smoothly with it’s humming sound – therefore sometimes these watches are called “hummers” – with the seconds hand sweeping without any “hacking”. The serial number is 34193390 and the case reference for this model is 198.002. These movements have 12 jewels and run off a 344 Renata battery.
