We have here a vintage gold on steel Constellation equipped with both an original gold plated Omega reference 1040 bracelet and a brand new Condor black leather strap (both with the correct 19 mm lug width). The watch has its original crystal, with the Omega logo in the middle, which we have decided to keep although it is slightly damaged just right of the date window.

The caliber 564 certified chronometer movement with serial number 25215091has been fully serviced. The setting crown has been replaced. This caliber has the quick change feature for date setting (you pull the crown out to change the date).

The light silver dial has applied gold in the pencil hour markers, the Omega logo, in the OMEGA text and in the Constellation star. The gold hands are super with the luminous material intact. The dial has a tiny mark over the “l” in Constellation.

The case is in good condition, and the gold Constellation observatory medallion is great, showing that this watch has not been “overused”. The case dimensions are: 35 x 40,2mm, thickness 10,6. It dates from 1967. The green box pictured is included in the price. If you prefer, the watch can be bought separately, you can also opt out on the bracelet if you wish. The watch will be repaired free of charge for a period of 12 months after purchase, should it stop or start to deviate from correct timekeeping more than a minute a day.
