On offer here is also an above average interesting Geneve automatic. The 166.041 case is favored by many collectors. It was introduced about the same time as the “C”-cased Constellations, to show that Omega was following the design trends in the mid to late sixties. The “Compressor” signed stainless steel case is unpolished, strong with sharp angles and without any discernible dents. Again this watch has the coveted caliber 565 movement and a perfect dial and hands. The dial is laid out with doubled white gold applied hour markers, that are all the same (simplistic!) shape, totally rectangular and heightened by black onyx inserts. The movement has the quick set date function, activated by pulling the crown out past the time setting position (sometimes referred to “pump-action” date change). Having been fully serviced, we offer our 12 month watchmakers guarantee on this very nice Omega wristwatch. The serial number 29351439 dates the watch to 1969. The case dimensions in mm are: Diameter 34,5, thickness 10,8 and lug tip to lug tip 40,7.
AntikA as guarantees the authenticity of this watch. Only original Omega service parts have been used during the last service that was performed by an Omega approved watchmaker. The watch will be repaired free of charge for a period of 12 months after purchase, should it stop or start to deviate from correct timekeeping more than a minute a day. Wrong use or visible damage excepted.
