Black dialed Omegas are sought after for a reason: they are scarce (and often have damaged dials). This Geneve with its striking red seconds hand is in superb condition with all lume plots intact. The hands have lume that has degraded, but appear quite perfect all the same. The white print on the dial matches the hands beautifully. The applied steel hour markers are heightened with black filling and are slightly rounded at the end. Having had its works fully serviced (it is equipped with arguably the best vintage automatic movement, caliber 565, ever made by Omega), this 1968 reference 166.041 Compressor is rare and desirable. The serial number 26880403 dates it to 1968. It has dimensions (mm): Diameter 34,5, thickness 11,4 and lug end to lug end 40,7.
