If you are looking for a large steel vintage Omega, this could be a contender. The width of 41 mm and the hefty bracelet makes a statement! The case reference numbers are 135.033/136.033 and 165.039/166.039. Inside this watch is the super automatic caliber 565 that has been fully serviced. The serial number is 28295677, dating this Geneve Dynamic to ca 1968. This caliber has the quick date shifting, performed by pulling out the crown in “pumping” actions. The dark blue dial is nicely matched with the white hands and the lighter blue seconds hand. Also; the dial has applied hour markers with white insert, making reading the time real easy. Many Dynamics came with leather straps, a feature that make them quite useless as vintage watches. Why? Because the specially fitted straps for these watches are discontinued, and old (NOS or not) straps will invariably crack and break if used, all due to the dried out leather that comes with age. The original Omega bracelet and buckle on this Dynamic has the correct markings: 11-1153/138. It will fit a wrist up to 19 cm.
