Sometimes there are small differences in watches from Omega with the same reference number. This one is the rarest having no lume neither on the dial or the hands. Therefore the text at the bottom is – SWISS MADE – only. The white gold hour markers are set with black onyx, matching the use of black filler in the hour and minute hands. This specimen has a perfect dial, and will probably stay perfect longer than a dial that has luminescence material on it. The fully serviced movement is the 24 jewel caliber 562 version and the serial number 22633171 dates it to 1965. It has been pressure tested to 3ATM, and being a nice exception to the rule that vintage watches are not waterproof, this one is! Original parts are there, Omega logo on crystal, crown, on the inside and outside of the caseback and of course on the beautiful movement. This Seamaster carries a 12 month watchmakers warranty. These Seamasters in steel, with silver dials and white gold markers are the most popular, so invariably the prices keep going up. Still, please remember that new Omegas start a bit higher in price still though.
