From ca 1956, this Seamaster had a couple of novelties for the day: The calendar “complication” was still a relatively new function at the time, and was honored with the “Calendar” subname on the dial. This Seamaster also has an early rotor driven automatic movement (caliber 503) as opposed to the earlier “bumpers”. Serial number is 15391637. The “works” is fully overhauled, and it comes with a 12 months wachtmaker’s warranty. The gold on steel case is in very good condition for it’s age, and the gold details on the dial are very nice. The dial itself shows some patina under certain angles of light. A new original crown has been fitted, and the beautifully kept movement has a snap on cover with the Patent 315.164 stamped on the inside. Case reference is 2849-2 SC-H and the manufacturer is HF. You can choose a new brown or black strap for this. We can also provide original Omega boxes (different types and prices are available) from the period if you should wish to complete.
