Blue dials of perfect quality are rare to find after 50 years. This is only the second we have come across in this configuration. The crosshairs dial is a blue dream! The 35 x 38 mm C-shaped case shows plenty of wear, but the crystal is the original one, and in our experience, that is the key to a well preserved dial. Lug width is 19 mm, thereby somewhat limiting the choice of straps, as 19 mm is difficult to source these days.
We are not able to find as many well preserved vintage Omegas as before, but some will keep coming. So we are very pleased to be able to offer this one! The manual caliber 613 movement has serial number 27044690, is “adjusted two positions” and dates the production year to be 1968. The case has a nice quality (gift?) engraving: “J.E.A.” with date “19 30/5 70”. In addition to the natostrap pictured, we will happily include a fitting blue (18 mm only) or black (19 mm) brand new leather strap in the sale.
