Don Draper´s choice

Early caliber 600 fully serviced manual movement

These top condition black Seamasters go quickly. The reference 14915 – 62 – SC is early DeVille (and represents the first monocoque cases from Omega). Monocoque meaning that there is no screw/or snap on back cover. This was meant to increase the water resistance. Screw on casebooks are, of course prone to the chance of a faulty gasket or the caseback not having been fastened properly. The monocoque construction prevents this, and leaves the watch movement better protected over time. To access the movement on these cases: pull out the crown, insert blow tool 107 in the hole left by the crown and then push the crystal out by air pressure. The serial number on the movement 19272327 dates it quite accurately to 1962. We use the reference to Mad Men, Don Draper´s choice because the actor Jon Hamm playing Don Draper used one Seamaster DeVille like this one in the later seasons of the drama series. It measures diameter: 34 mm, lug tip to lug tip  and thickness mm.

AntikA as guarantees the authenticity of this watch. Only original Omega service parts have been used during the last service that was performed by an Omega approved watchmaker. The watch will be repaired free of charge for a period of 12 months after purchase, should it stop or start to deviate from correct timekeeping more than a minute a day. Wrong use or visible damage excepted.
