Perfect linen dial
Mint, early DeVille
Automatic, caliber 552 fully serviced
A rare, no date dress watch. Not easy to find in this condition. The crosshatched linen pattern on the dial, with the real gold applied hour markers, together with the gold Omega logo and lettering matches the solid gold bezel and lug covering. The absence of a date window makes the balance and symmetry of the dial perfect. The slim, gold on steel case has signs of wear, but all in all, this vintage watch from 1963 is exceptional. We date it to the end of 1963, maybe start of 1964 after the serial number which is 20995529. The monocoque case even passed the standard waterproofing test (3.0 bar) performed at the end of the full service carried out by an Omega certified watchmaker. No vintage watch should be considered “Waterproof” all the same! The dimensions are: diameter 34, thickness 10,7 and lug end to lug end 40 mm. You can choose between the pictured matte and more shiny straps, brown or black. All factory knew. The vintage strap with Omega buckle pictured is extra – old straps are not recommended for regular use, the tend to crack or fail due to age.
AntikA as guarantees the authenticity of this watch. Only original Omega service parts have been used during the last service that was performed by an Omega approved watchmaker. The watch will be repaired free of charge for a period of 12 months after purchase, should it stop or start to deviate from correct timekeeping more than a minute a day. Wrong use or visible damage excepted.
