Well, not exactly the same (to be fair, Don had a black cross hairs dialed Seamaster Deville), but this is an exceptional very much similiar Omega all the same! Actually, we have never handled a black dialed Seamaster like this one before. And a one owner example at that! Most black Semasters have gold hour markers and hands. The slim, long, bevelled white gold hour markers and pointed steel “dagger” hour and minute hands are super elegant on the cylinder round case. The case is well used with marks, but it is unpolished and genuine. It has now also successfully passed the waterproofing test ( to 3.0 bar). We have equipped it with a replacement crown as well as a brand new Omega crystal both correct for this 166.001 (SGR signed) case reference. The caliber 562 automatic movement has been fully serviced. The serial number 20375952 dates it to ca 1963. The case dimensions (mm) are: Diameter 34,5, thickness 10,8 and lug tip to lug tip 39,3.
