We love this panda (“Siffert”) chronograph, representing a kind of “poor man’s Heuer Autavia” (named after the Swiss racing driver Jo Siffert, who was the first in the Formula 1 circus to promote Heuer). As with the white dialed Siffert, these Tissot chronograph are far more often seen with black dials. Therefore rarer and more valuable! This watch has seen very little use, and deserve the “mint” classification. The case diameter is 41mm and lug width 20mm. It is driven by a Valjoux 7734 manual movement that is signed Tissot 2070. The movement also has a Tissot serial number. Ca 1972.
