Zenith dominated much of the competition for watch accuracy, and won most of the Grand Prixs before WW2. This attractive, small and slender waistcoat watch is very affordable. Because of some blemishes in the centre (near 10) on the two-tone dial, this chronometer grade watch represents a lot of value for the money. Only 44mm diameter and 9mm thickness, it can also pass a a purse accessory. The chromed case is excellent, so are the blued steel Breguet hands. Breguet also preferred the Art Deco inspired numerals you find here. The clean movement runs accurately and has serial number 3057105.
We have another Zenith with a movement that comes from the same period; have a look at the “Exact time Chronometer” (Nøjaktig Tid Kronometer), and you will see a lot of similarities.
