The Flagship models from Longines are something special. Always sought after by collectors. This model 3108 – 2 193 is the first we have seen. According to the excellent website Emmy Watch the movement installed, caliber 351 was used between 1961 and 1963, thereby dating this Flagship quite precisely. As usual with Longines, the movement is a looker and has a special racket rotor we seldom see. The very near mint dial has applied gold indexes, date frame and logo. The minute and hour hands are a generic replacement. The dial setup with the date at the top and the sub seconds at 6 gives an unusual and intriguing balance. The case is well used, and the back cover has marks. The gold Flagship medallion is a super nice detail! The crown is the original. The case dimensions are: Â Diameter 35.2, lug to lug (tip)43.1 and thickness 10.5 mm.You may choose between a large selection of factory new high quality straps. A Longines box may be purchased extra, if available.
