Tissot Antimagnetique, steel, Art Deco

A very near perfect slim steel pocket watch from the late thirties (ca 1937). The 15 jewel movement, caliber 43II, number 797991 has been fully serviced. The “Staybrite, Acier inoxidable” case has the number 917395/1 stamped on the inside back cover. The Art Deco period can be recognized in the three step build of the case, and the angular chain loop around the crown. The inner circle on the dial and around the subdial, also gives the impression of three levels in the dial, matching the case design. Of course, the Breguet blued steel hands (known as such by the circular holes towards the pointed tips), and the Breguet “font” numerals also fit the popular Art Deco style nicely. The diameter is 48 mm and the thickness 10,9 mm.
