Made ca 1944 (movement serial number is 10720215), this double signed Omega pocket watch has less of the distinct angular, stepped cases we see from the thirties. Still a stepped case though, and a triangle loop over the crown. The cases on these steel pocket watches are rarer and slimmer than their chrome/nickel, gold or silver cased cousins from their respective style periods. We are therefore great believers in the collectability of these steel pocket watches. As always: steel is the stronger and more durable material! The numbered, reference 374/3 case is 48,7 mm in diameter and 11,3 mm thick. The silvered dial is in good condition and the blued steel Breguet style hands (and numerals) are perfect! The maximum sized subdial gives the seconds hand a good size (and space for the dealers name: “O. Ryden, Malmö” (Sweden)). The caliber 38.5 L. T1 movement (Omega changed the name of the movement to caliber 160 in 1949) has been fully serviced.
AntikA as guarantees the authenticity of this watch. Only original Omega service parts have been used during the last service that was performed by an Omega approved watchmaker. The watch will be repaired free of charge for a period of 12 months after purchase, should it stop or start to deviate from correct timekeeping more than a minute a day. Wrong use or visible damage excepted.
