In our opinion this Zenith beats its contemporary Omegas. The movement is just beautiful with gold bushings framing the three top jewels. The movement runs fine, no need for a service soon. It has the starred logo on the crown in addition to the silvered dial. A super clean dial with gold applied hour markings. Both the movement and case are numbered and signed. The case has the shape of the steel cased pocket watches from the period, but this case is clearly marked “Metal Chromé” so no doubt here. The hinged back cover has a striped texture and decorative details in the “Art Deco” style. This watch dates from ca 1960 though. Like the steel ones, this pocket watch is slim and light compared to the old silver or gold pocket watches, making it very useful and wearable in waist pockets, jackets or just in your trouser pocket. Like all our pocket watches it comes with a suitable chain. The thickness is only 9,8 mm and the diameter 49,5 mm.
