Elegant, minimalistic and relatively slim watch from the twenties. Eterna was a proud brand with high quality signed and numbered movements. The silvered dial is in very nice condition, the two-tone minute “half railway track” adding to the shuttle elegance of this watch. The clear arabic hour numbers are heightened in their print (difficult to catch in photographs) and the blued steel hands are all in quite perfect condition. In many ways this could have be taken for a steel cased watch, but the material used is in fact “Metal Chrome”. Typically this case has a different number from the movement, but it is also signed “Eterna” (case dimensions are: 48,5 diameter x 12,7 mm thickness). The beautiful caliber 467 movement runs very well (serial number is 3463864) although it has not been serviced by us. The 32 cm long accompanying chain is of good quality too, having a very practical clamp for fixing to a pocket. In short, this is a very useable and decorative watch.
