Longines caliber 37.93

A steel cased, 50,6 mm diameter, 13,8 mm thick pocket watch of high quality. Retaining much of the earlier pocket watch shape with a rounded case design, it dates from ca 1949. With the two tone dial,  the blued steel hands and numerals in the Breguet style it is a typical Longines pocket watch in appearance. We like the steel cased ones best. They cost more than the chrome/nickel “”Metal” cased watches when new, and these steel cases last longer. This is also a matching numbers example, having the case numbering 23670 stamped on both back covers. The serial number on the caliber 37.93 movement is 7471518. This watch runs fine, and is sold without having been serviced by us, thereby keeping the price to less than half a fully serviced one would cost. A matching watch chain comes with the watch.
