A genuine Swiss Omega (recognized by the Swiss national silver markings on case, silver 0.900) in good condition. We write this because many of these pocket watches in silver were cased in the country they were sold. They also in many cases got locally preferred (and cheaper) dials. The sectored dial on this Omega has a textured centre part and a nice, detailed sub seconds. The blued steel “Breguet” hands and the “Breguet” Arabic hour numbers are delicately balanced on the dial. This very nice Omega pocket watch dates from the thirties. The 15 jewel movement runs fine and is numbered 7743153 (the movement has not been serviced by us). The hinged silver caseback and (also silver) movement protective cover are both numbered 8291119. On the back cover there is no engraving, so the “coat of arms” can now be personalized if you want it. The engine turned decoration around the shield is proof of the Swiss ambition for finishing touches and ads to the overall feel of quality. The case measurements are: diameter 49,1 and thickness 12,9 mm. As with all our pocket watches it comes with a free suitable chain. (If you want a silver one, it will cost NOK 500 extra).
